Moneta was born in Kinmundy, IL to the late Carroll G. Jones and Vivian Jones . She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, sister, Jeanette Retkowski, and her son Donald Eugene Kay. Moneta attended Bismarck High School in Bismarck, MO and St. Louis Community College. Everybody loved Moneta she was very creative and worked in the interior design field selling fabric and furnishings.

Diana loved fishing with her family and would always catch the biggest bass every time they would go. She was a dedicated registered nurse for 28 years, she had a passion for taking care and helping people. Diana will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those that knew and loved her.
